Thomas L. Robinette, 73, of Glenroy, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2020, at his home. He was born on August 20, 1946, in Pike County, Kentucky, son of the late Matt and Dolly (Maynard) Robinette, Jr. Thomas was a true man of God who enjoyed spreading the gospel message through preaching and singing. He had a natural way of uplifting someone when they were down. His personality could light up a room. A country gentleman at heart, Thomas also enjoyed fishing and hunting, but most of all spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Gail Robinette; children, Gary Robinette and Kim (Shanon) Walton; nine grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Lloyd (Martha) Robinette; sisters, Robin (Barry) Nicholson, Janet (Larry) Thornton, and Connie (Ronnie) Marcum; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Robinette, Jr.; brother, Dennis; and sisters, Derona Goheen and Sue Walters.
In keeping with the family’s wishes, private services will be held with Pastor Barry Benson officiating. Burial will be in Glenroy Cemetery.
