Teresa Jean (Triplett) Hayslip

Teresa Jean Hayslip, 59, of Wellston, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at the Holzer Medical Center in Jackson. She was born March 26, 1964, in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of the late Paul H. and Connie Jean (Hayden) Triplett. Teresa was a very loving mother and grandmother. She adored her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She also liked watching her favorite television programs: Survivor and her daily soap opera, General Hospital.  Teresa could often be found going to Bingo or getting dressed up and going out to sing karaoke. A beloved, kind, and gentle soul will be greatly missed by many.

She is survived by her children, Paul (Tabitha) Hayslip and Shirley Ewing; grandchildren, Logan, Jayden, Paul Wayne, Layla, and baby Chuckie; one great-grandson on the way; sisters, Cheryl Triplett, Debbie Sapp, Paula Johnson, and Tracy Triplett; an aunt, Betty Hayslip; as well as several nieces and nephews, and her former husband and father of her children, Dale W. Hayslip.

In addition to her parents, Teresa was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Triplett, and an aunt, Margie Alene Mullens.

A funeral service celebrating Teresa’s life will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of R.M. Williams Funeral Service 120 West Broadway St., Wellston. Burial will follow in Ridgewood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, from 6 to 8 p.m.
