Robert Lee Jarvis, 70, of Chillicothe, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021, at Westmoreland Place in Chillicothe, Ohio after an extended illness. He was born on May 6, 1950, in Wellston, Ohio, son of the late Willie Jarvis, Jr. and Thelma Overstreet. Bob enjoyed the outdoors. He loved hunting and fishing and was a lifetime member of the Whitetail Unlimited hunting club. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his sister, Dora Seitz; special friends and caregivers, Susan (Daniel) Rader and Jeanette Roe; nephew, Marty Jarvis; niece, Lori (Bruce) Bailey; great-nephews, Marty Lee and Logan Jarvis, and Brian Burns; special friends, Larry and Tim Brown, and Tom Clark; as well as many other nieces, nephews, and friends; and his beloved canines, Dora Sue and Daisy May.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Ray Jarvis; sister, Brenda Rose; nephews, Doug, Kraig, and Timothy Ray Jarvis; as well as two infant sisters, Norma Jean, and Betty Ann.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 1, 2021, from 5 to 7 p.m., in the chapel of R.M. Williams Funeral Service, 120 W. Broadway St., Wellston. In keeping with Bob’s wishes cremation will follow.
