Lifestory

Paul Spry, 69, of Wilkesville, passed away on Monday, September 4, 2023, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia. He was born October 15, 1953, in Logan, West Virginia. Paul was a coal miner for 35 years, then he enjoyed driving school bus for Vinton County Local Schools for the last several years. He was well loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed by many.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Kathy Burns Spry; three sons, Paul Edward (Rossi) Spry, Bobby and Brad Ritterbeck; daughter, Kim (Ben) Napper; as well as several grandchildren, brothers and sisters, nieces, and nephews.

In keeping with Paul’s wishes his body will be cremated and no services will be held.
