Patrick B Napper

Patrick B. Napper, 61, of Wilkesville, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022, at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. He was born June 2, 1961, in Wellston, Ohio, son of the late Kenneth Napper Sr. and Evelyn (Beuchner) Napper. Patrick was a graduate of Vinton County Highschool and Buckeye Hills Career Center building trades program. Patrick proudly served his Country as a United States Marine and was a member of the Joseph Freeman American Legion Post 476 of Wilkesville. He was an extremely hard worker with a never quit attitude. Patrick was a very generous person who always had a smile on his face.  He loved life, was continually positive and found the secret to a happy life was contentment and gratitude. He will be greatly missed by many.

He is survived by his loving family: sons, Nicholas (Amanda Little) Napper, and Michael (Trista) Napper; daughter, Brandi (Terry) Nichols; four grandchildren: Dillon Adkins, Jaidan Little, Maverick Adkins, and Kaylee Napper; a brother, Kenny (Faith) Napper; sisters, Sharon Perdue and Patty Sorrell; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many special friends including Laurie Ponn (the mother of his children), Clayton and Roy Ponn, (who were like his children), Debbie Johnson, Wilbur Sorrell, and countless others; and his dog, Diesel.

In addition to his parents, Patrick was preceded in death by his sisters, Karla, and Peg.

In keeping with Patrick’s wishes his body will be cremated. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of R.M. Williams Funeral Service, 120 W. Broadway St., Wellston, with full military honors.

Continuing his generosity even in death, Patrick was a donor of his cornea’s so that others may have the gift of sight.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Patrick's name may be given to the funeral home to help with expenses.
