Melissa A. Hill, 43, of Jackson, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2020, at her home following an extended illness. She was born on October 14, 1976, in Gallipolis, Ohio, daughter of the late Jack and Virginia (Johnson) Smith. She is survived by her husband, David; sons, Cody, Noah, and Nick; brothers, Jack (Betsy) Smith, John (Shari) Smith, Jim Smith, Rick (Laura) Smith, and Jeff (Tammy) Smith, Joe (Corinna) Smith; sisters, Darlene Griffith and April Hill; special niece, Jessica (Caleb) Reed, as well as other nieces and nephews, Rachael, Dakota, Elisha, Hannah, and Rebecca.
