Kelli Ward Lifestory

Kelli Ann Ward, 33, of Mason, Ohio, passed away, surrounded by family and loved ones on Sunday, March 31, 2024, following a brief hospital stay. She was born October 11, 1990, and raised in McArthur, Ohio, daughter of John and Linda Ward.

Throughout her life, Kelli made friends wherever she went, often forming bonds that would last a lifetime. She was incredibly kind, caring, and quick to help anyone in need. Over the years, she worked many jobs and would often be promoted within a short time of being hired. She prided herself on learning various skills and was always excited to tackle new challenges.

For as hard as she worked, Kelli made sure to take plenty of time for what mattered to her most: family. The youngest of four children, she looked up to her sisters, Nikki and Mary and Stefanie, who protected and guided her through her school years and into adulthood. She was the baby of the family, and her parents doted on her accordingly. Kelli was also a proud aunt to several nieces and nephews. In later years, Kelli found great happiness in her relationship with her loving fiancé, Lindsay Hall. Kelli and Lindsay, along with Kelli's stepson Kingston, made an abundance of happy memories, regularly documenting their adventures on social media, where Kelli's infectious laugh and beautiful smile were on full display.

Though her life was tragically cut short, Kelli lived the years she had to the fullest. By all who loved her, she will be profoundly missed.

Kelli is survived by her father and mother, John and Linda Ward; fiancé, Lindsay Hall; son, Kingston Pennington; sisters, Nikki Sowers and Stefanie Barney; as well as many nieces and nephews, and uncles, Steve and Milon Bobo, Vernon and Juanita Bobo, and Melvin and Angie Ward.

Kelli was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, John and Juanita Ward and Harley and Mary Bobo; a sister, Mary Yocum; a nephew, Tristan Steele; and a brother-in-law, John Sowers.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 2 to 4 p.m., in the chapel of R.M. Williams Funeral Service, 120 W. Broadway St., Wellston, where a brief, informal service will follow commencing at 4 p.m.
