Kayla Ann Floyd, 28, of Wilkesville, lost her battle with addiction on Thursday morning, August 11, 2022. She was born November 28, 1993, in Chillicothe, Ohio, daughter of Sherry (Floyd) Dalrymple and the late Sam Bevard, Jr. Kayla was a beautiful girl who loved the beach, her friends, and the color purple. She was a person you never forgot and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her mother and step father, Sherry Floyd (Troy) Dalrymple; children, Raelyn, Kenzlee, Cameron, and Jax; brothers, David and Joshua Daily; sisters, Cassie (Dusten) Holsinger, Brittney Bevard, and Misti Dawn (Justin) Elliott; grandparents, Dewey Floyd, Rose and Tom Nichols, Ruth and Frank Leach, and Roger and Jackie Dalrymple; as well as her second family growing up, uncle, Dennis and aunt, Karen, Mikel and Halie; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Sam Bevard, Jr.; sister, Ashley Daily; aunt, Traci Bevard; and grandfather, Sam Bevard, Sr.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating Kayla’s life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

To any who are living in addiction please get the help you need to find your way out. There are people who love you and will help you. Please don’t let the end of Kayla’s journey be yours too.
