Katherine (Smith) Kershaw

Katherine Kershaw, 70, of Columbus, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Grant Medical Center in Columbus. She was born January 13, 1953, in Charleston, West Virginia, daughter of the late Ford and Reba Smith.

She is survived by her sons, Shane Kershaw, Trent Kershaw, and Adam (Susie) Kershaw; seven grandchildren, Kristoffer (Mallarie), Bradley, Natalie, Alyssa (David), Emily, Makayla, and Madison; eight great-grandchildren, Kallie, Layla, Mason, Bella, Evelyn, Tesslyn, Kaeden, and Brayden; three sisters, Martha Ross, Myrtle Newland, and May Bell; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Rick Kershaw in May of 2015; as well as four brothers, one half-brother, and an infant sister, Rebecca.

A funeral service celebrating Kathy’s life will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Schoedinger-Norris Funeral and Cremation Service, Grove City located at 4242 Hoover Road. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Galloway.

The family will receive friends also on Thursday at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY, two hours prior to the funeral service from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
