Joseph Sigur Lifestory

Joseph M. Sigur, 37, of Oak Hill, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at the Holzer Medical Center in Jackson. He was born May 25, 1985, in Columbus, Ohio, son of David Sigur and the late Marie Davis. Joe was a kind, loving, and caring person. He enjoyed playing cards, board games, and watching the kids play sports (and coaching from the stands) as well as being a “wingman” for the boys -regularly trying to get them a girlfriend. He had a huge heart and would help anyone in need often to his own detriment. He was a very enthusiastic Philadelphia Eagles fan and loved telling stories. Most of all Joe loved spending time with his family and friends and making them laugh. He will be greatly missed by many.
He is survived by his fiancé, Sara Seagraves; children, Kendall and Lila Sigur and Grayson and Kenna Glispie; sisters, Amber (Steve) Anderson, and Angela Sigur; nephews, Ethan Gregory, Xander Anderson, and Wyatt Frazier; nieces, Jasmine Gregory and RoseMarie McIe; as well as his special cousins, Natasha Simpson and Lukas Ingram; soon-to-be Father and mother-in-law, Tim and Angie Seagraves; and soon to be sister-in-law, Kim (Chris) Frazier.
A memorial service celebrating Joe’s life will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in Trinity Wesleyan Church in Oak Hill with Pastors Kevin Terry and Skeeter Woodall officiating. The family will receive friends also on Saturday one hour prior to services.
