Deborah I Howell, 63, of Bidwell, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at the Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis following a battle with cancer. Although it may seem that cancer won, Deb did indeed obtain victory through Jesus Christ. She was born January 15, 1959, in McArthur, Ohio, daughter of the late Desley and Pluma (Smallwood) Bentley. A Christian by faith, Deb attended both the Renovate Life Church of God and Vinton Chapel. She was very kindhearted, loved everyone she met, and made sure each person she came across knew that Jesus loved them too. She enjoyed reading her Bible, going to church, and working cross word puzzles.
She is survived by her family: sons, Jon (Anna) Howell and Chad (Jolaina) Howell; daughter, Beth (Brandon) Coon; 21 grandchildren; brother, Tim (Chris) Bentley; sisters, Betty (Eddie) Johnston, Deloris Coen, Grace Whittington, Darlene (Donald) King, and Anita (Chuck) Maynard; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Deb was preceded in death by two brothers, Leroy and Dan Bentley, a granddaughter, Mickaela; and an infant brother, Bruce
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 7, 2022, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the chapel of R.M. Williams Funeral Service, 120 W. Broadway St., Wellston, where a funeral service will follow commencing at 6 p.m. with Pastor James Dimel officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
