Arthur Hill

Arthur Hill, 65, of Wellston, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at the Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis. He was born January 21, 1957, in Jackson County, OH, son of the late Marshall E. Hill and Grace E. (Morris) Hill. Arthur was the youngest of 13 children.

Art is survived by his loving family:  daughters Julie Dixon and Avis (Liz) Hill, five grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Grace Ann Hill, and Doris Ellen Crowe; one brother, Russell “Mike” and Eve Hill, two sisters-in-law, Brenda Hill, and Rebecca Hill; as well as lots of nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to his parents, Art was preceded in death by his brothers, Patrick Hill, Elden Eugene Hill, Marshall Jr “Sam” Hill, and infant brother Joseph; sisters, Avis Wieske, Delores Terry, Janet Wyatt, LaVerne Bell Boyer, and infant sister, Nellie Ruth Hill.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of R.M. Williams Funeral Service, 120 West Broadway Street, the family will receive friends at the Funeral Home also on Saturday, November 19, 2022, three hours prior to the service from 1 to 4 p.m.
