Alisha Kristine Tinker, 35, of Zaleski, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at the Maple Hills Nursing Center in McArthur. She was born August 6, 1987, in Athens, Ohio, daughter of Wayne and Sheila (Brooks) Tinker. Alisha was a 2006 graduate of Vinton County High School. She previously attended Wright State University and was currently attending Hocking College. A music lover at heart, Alisha enjoyed attending concerts. She liked spending time with her family and friends and trying all kinds of different foods such as sushi. Alisha was also a cat lover and will be much missed by her fur baby, Pujuju.
In addition to her parents, Alisha is survived by her brother, Brady (Kalyn) Tinker; nieces, Evelynn and Tinsley Tinker, and Rose Webb; maternal grandpa, Jim Brooks; as well as many cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandma, Betty Brooks; and paternal grandparents, Joseph and Donna Tinker.
A funeral service celebrating Alisha’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., in the chapel of R.M. Williams Funeral Service, 120 W. Broadway St., Wellston with Father Thomas Herge officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home also on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Zaleski.
