Yvonne M. (Hutt) Patterson

Yvonne M. Patterson, 85, of Chillicothe, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at Signature Healthcare of Chillicothe. She was born November 6, 1937, in Vinton County, Ohio, daughter of the late Marvin and Helen (Ratcliffe) Hutt. Yvonne married Marvin Patterson on February 13, 1960, and he preceded her in death after 41 years of marriage on August 16, 2001. Yvonne was a devoted wife and mother who put family and God before everything. A longtime Jehovah’s Witness she enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting, and most importantly, spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by many.

She is survived by her two sons, Doug (Tisha) Patterson and Jeff (Charma) Patterson; four grandchildren, Kesha, Jerrod, Kalen, and Jason; three step-grandchildren, Jacob, Tyler, and Matthew Ross; eight great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Ella, Kami, Paiden, Paisley, Grayson, and Tinley; two brothers, Sonny Hutt, and Earl Hutt; one sister, Shirley Grossarth; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Yvonne was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jeanette, grandson, Noah; great-grandson, Kevin; and a sister, Thelma Scott.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 2 to 4 p.m., in the chapel of R.M. Williams Funeral Service, 120 W. Broadway St., Wellston. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Ray, at the convenience of the family.
