William Jeffrey Copeland

William Jeffrey “Jeff” Copeland, 55, of Mayfield, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017 in Jackson County, Ohio as the result of an automobile accident. He was born in Mayfield, Kentucky on October 22, 1962, son of the late Billy Joe Copeland and Carolyn Louise (Rodgers) Copeland, who survives. Jeff had a great sense of humor and very much enjoyed fishing. He was a very hard worker who enjoyed traveling the country taking great pride in his skills as a certified welder and pipefitter. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mayfield, and was Justin Moore’s biggest fan! He will be missed by many.
In addition to his mother, Jeff is survived by his significant other and girlfriend, Gregg Knight; son, William Jared Copeland (Angie); as well as his step granddaughter, Taylor West.
Private family arrangements have been completed. A memorial service celebrating Jeff’s life will be held in Mayfield, Kentucky at a later date at the convenience of his family.
