Timothy Wojdacz, 74, of Wellston, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025, at his home. He was born December 5, 1950, in Lorain, Ohio, son of the late Julius and Margaret (Persensky) Wojdacz. Tim attended General Motors Institute and obtained his bachelor's degree in engineering. He worked 32 years in that field, most recently retiring from the City of Wellston as its engineer. Originally from northern Ohio, Tim moved to Wellston 25 years ago and instantly fell in love with the people and scenery. He “adopted” this small town as his own and worked tirelessly for its betterment. He will be greatly missed by many.
He is survived by his wife, Donna (Holzapfel) Wojdacz whom he married on December 30, 1986; son, Eric (Mariah) Wojdacz; stepsons, Tim (Stephanie) Wick, and Jeremy (Shawna) Wick; 12 grandchildren; sisters, Monica (Dave) Potts, and Anne Wojdacz; as well as nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Wojdacz, and a brother, Thomas Wojdacz.
A funeral mass celebrating Tim’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Peter and Paul Catholic church with Father Thomas Herge as celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at R.M. Williams Funeral Service, 120 W. Broadway St., Wellston on Monday, April 21, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m.
