Loving. Feisty. Thoughtful. These are but a few words that describe Sharon Ann Jordan, 74, of Wellston, who passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at her home. She was born November 24, 1949, in Wellston, Ohio, daughter of the late Raymond E. Collins and Ruth (Warner) Collins. Sharon attended Grace Baptist Fellowship in Wellston and was a hostess at Ponderosa in Jackson for a number of years. She very much loved her grandkids and could be found on the sidelines of anything they were involved in. She enjoyed watching older westerns, Gunsmoke, and the Mountain Men on television. A friend to many, the world has lost a very caring, kind-hearted, and genuine person.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bill Jordan; sons Billy Ray Jordan and Tim (Misty) Jordan; a daughter, Stephanie Frazier; nine grandchildren: Alyssa, Tyler, Austin, Andrew, Dylan, Ethan, Alex, Julian, and Jaelynn; two great-grandchildren, Jennings and Lincoln; a brother, Eddie (Gloria) Collins; sisters, Bonnie Davis, Connie Potts, and Barbara Faught; as well as special friends, Teresa Smith and Clarice Perry and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her son, Michael Jordan; a brother, Jimmy Collins; and an infant sister, Betty Ann.
