Rufus Eugene Orender

Rufus Eugene Orender, 51, of McArthur, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at his home following a hard-fought battle with cancer. He was born August 14, 1970, in Millstone, Kentucky, son of the late Wayne and Alice Mae (Hughes) Orender. Eugene was a simple man who enjoyed his mustang and the great outdoors. He could often be found fishing, cooking out, or relaxing on the porch with a cold beer in hand, surrounded by his friends. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Lora; son, Rufus Orender; daughter, Katrina Blackwell; two stepchildren; eight grandchildren; two brothers, four sisters, several nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Dusty Prater.

In addition to his parents, Eugene was preceded in death by his special uncle, Glenn Orender.

In keeping with Eugene’s wishes his body will be cremated and no services will be held.
