Roy D. Kirkendall
June 2, 1939 — January 5, 2022
Roy D. Kirkendall, 82, of Hamden, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at his home. He was born June 2, 1939, in Dundas, Ohio, son of the late Albert Aaron and Faye Catherine (Roof) Kirkendall. A truck driver by trade, Roy attended the Lakeview Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Judie (Perry) Kirkendall; son, Phillip Kirkendall; daughter, Kimberly Caudill; as well as eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his brothers, Don and Charlie, and sisters, Ruth, Regina, Lilian, Betty, Martha, and Rosemary.
In keeping with Roy’s wishes his body will be cremated and no public services will be held.
