Rosa I. (Bush) Mcclaskey

Our sweet Rosa Irene McClaskey, at the age of 103 years, departed for her heavenly family on the 25th of May 2023.  She was the much-loved wife of the late Charles F. McClaskey, and mother to her three sons.  She was born May 23, 1920, daughter of the late Edward and Minnie (Kottcamp) Bush.

Rosa was primarily a homemaker but did more to help her family with a few odd jobs.  She loved washing dishes and helping make pies for a local shop as needed for her family of five. Her three sons were the key to how happy one person could be.

She is survived by her son Thomas McClaskey, and numerous nieces, nephews, grand and great grand children.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, as well as her two sons, Charles E. McClaskey and Roger L. McClaskey.

A funeral service celebrating Rosa's life will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of R.M. Williams Funeral Service, 120 W. Broadway St., Wellston, with Pastor Tim Jones officiating; burial will follow in Hamden Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home also on Tuesday, two hours prior to the service, from 12 noon until 2 p.m.
