Pamela Irene (Parker) Hannah, 73, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, passed away on May 7, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on June 4, 1952, in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of the late James and Irene (Baily) Parker.
Pamela embraced life with a warmth that touched everyone she met. She found immense pleasure in gardening, canning, and cooking—skills she honed with patience and love. Her younger years were filled with adventures of fishing and a playful enthusiasm for playing bingo and gambling. A dedicated sports fan, she eagerly followed the Cincinnati Bengals and the Ohio State Buckeyes, embodying the passionate spirit of her home state. Pamela’s heart belonged deeply to the outdoors; she loved camping and found solace and happiness in the melodies of country music, particularly enjoying the tunes of Alan Jackson, Willie Nelson, and Elvis Presley. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she was widely known for her remarkable caregiving and nurturing presence. A cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Pamela’s life was marked by devotion to family, a love for nature, and a spirit of joy and care for those around her.
Pamela’s legacy is carried on by her daughters, Vanessa Hannah (Mike Hammonds), Michelle (Tom) Roberts, and Denise Triplett, along with her son, Alexander Triplett, III. She also held special bonds with her stepchildren, Nichole Triplett and Betty Triplett. Her family was further expanded by eleven beloved grandchildren: Alley (Dan) Grimes, Cassie Martin, Alyssa Rife, Tyler Davidson, Makayla Triplett, Alexis Triplett, Chase Triplett, Tori (Brandon) Turman, Brian Hall, Seth Triplett, and Joseph (Destiny) Hornback. Pamela’s joy knew no bounds as she watched over fifteen great-grandchildren, who brought immeasurable happiness to her later years. She cherished her sisters: Barbara Parker (Roger Kelley), Lorraine Wolf, Corrinea Wagner, and Evealine (Darryll) Shrewsberry, special nephew, John Schneider; along with many other nieces and nephews who benefited from her kind and generous nature. Pamela was also a dear lifelong friend of Patty Triplett, whose companionship was a source of comfort and shared memories.
In addition to her parents, Pamela was preceded in death by her life partner, Alexander Triplett, Jr., who shared many years of love and partnership; brothers Larkin Parker and Glen Parker, sisters Martha Ellen Mullins and Noreene Parker, as well as brothers-in-law Ronald Reynolds and Richard Wagner.
