Margaret L. Winters

Margaret Lynn (Potter) Winters, 70, of Wellston, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Jackson Care Center in Jackson. She was born on October 16, 1955, in Logan, Ohio, the daughter of the late William Robert Potter and Myrtle Marie Laferty. Margaret spent her life as a nurse, dedicated to caring for and helping others. She will be greatly missed by many.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Winters; a stepbrother, Dick Jordan; brother-in-law, Rodney (Debbie) Winters; sister-in-law, Marsha Eberts; nieces and nephews, Sara Potter, Jason (Tracy) Winters, Tammy (Jason) Smith, Brian (Rachel) Winters, and Alex Eberts; as well as many great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her stepfather, Foster Jordan; two brothers, Gary and David; stepbrothers, Roger and Bill Jordan; as well as her niece, Jennifer Potter.

A graveside service celebrating Margaret’s life will be held at a later date. Burial of ashes will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur, beside her beloved parents.
