Kevin "Beef" E. Bethel

Kevin E. “Beef” Bethel, 61, of Ray, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at his home. He was born May 10, 1963, in Logan, Ohio, son of the late Richard Bethel and Mary Kay (Turner) Campbell, who survives. Kevin enjoyed playing darts, shooting pool, dancing, and singing karaoke. An outdoorsman at heart he also liked fishing. Most of all, however, Kevin loved spending time with his family and friends often throwing parties with bon-fires and holding hog roasts. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Kay; significant other, Tonta Bigham; sisters, Rose Nichols (Timothy) and Tisha Patterson (Douglas); a brother, Bryan Campbell (Bonnie); stepson, Steven Bigham; grandkids, Asia, Ashley, Keely, and Kaden Bigham; as well as a special friend who was like a son, Brandon Rutter; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his father, Kevin was preceded in death by his stepfather, Ralph Campbell; a niece, Sierra Danner; and a nephew, Kevin Allen “Little Man” Patterson.

In keeping with Kevin’s wishes his body will be cremated and no public services will be held.
