Kathy L (Cheatwood) Rainer

Kathy L. Rainer, 66, of Wellston, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at her home. She was born July 18, 1958, in Gallipolis, Ohio, daughter of the late Leo and Mary (Coyle) Cheatwood. Kathy was an animal lover and had many wonderful pets throughout the years. She adored her grandchildren, enjoyed listening to music, and watching “The Voice” on television.

She is survived by her son, Jason Rainer; grandchildren: Braley, Pacey, Miley, and Brason; great-grandchildren: Lainie Leach and Kinslee McClaskey; sisters, Elaine Hill and Pam Davis; a brother, Ronald Cheatwood; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her son, Colt Rainer, a brother, James Cheatwood; and her beloved dog, Pixie.

Private family arrangements have been completed.
