Judy Irene (Ousley) Jarvis Havens

Judy Irene Ousley Jarvis Havens, 72, of Wellston, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at the Holzer Medical Center in Jackson. She was born February 20, 1951, in Vinton County, Ohio, daughter of the late Edward Ousley and Violet Irene Stapleton. Judy was the third generation of family who carried the middle name “Irene” and was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed attending church, playing Bingo, decorating for various seasons and holidays, and watching her grandchildren play sports. Most of all, however, she loved being outdoors enjoying warm weather spending time with her family at cookouts and other family events. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her loving family: son, Brian (Diane) Jarvis; daughter, Kim Perry (Mike Copas); 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; a brother, Rick (Brenda) Ousley; sisters, Patty (Keith) Cooper, Debbie Vickers, and Brenda Leone; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Brent Jarvis; daughter, Rhonda “Missy” Duncan; a brother, Keith Ousley; and sister, Sue Kisner.

The family will receive friends at R.M. Williams Funeral Service on Friday, December 8, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., where a funeral service celebrating Judy’s life will follow commencing at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Keith Fulton officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery.
