Patient. Kind. Forgiving. These are but a few words that describe Judy A. Norman Sexton, 79, of Wellston, who passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. She was born December 3, 1944, in Coalton, Ohio, daughter of the late Fred and Pauline (Cook) Haynes. A Christian by faith, Judy was a “big-hearted” person who loved her animals. She enjoyed attending church and going out to eat with friends, especially having Bob Evans for lunch. Judy could often be found watching Jeopardy on television and was always there to give an uplifting or encouraging word to others. She will be missed by many.
She is survived by her son, Rick Norman; nephews, Ed Wyatt and Tim Norman; Nieces, Tina Burt, Shari Queen, Vicki Norman, Staci Baker; and Kim Baker and daughter, Kaylee; as well as other nieces, nephews, and cousins; and special friends, Carolyn Bevard Waybright, Carol “CJ” Edwards, and Janet Norman.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her daughter, Tami Jo Tribby; husbands, John Norman and Carson Sexton; as well as a brother, Albert Haynes; and sister, Phyllis Wyatt; and nephew, Rob Norman.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., in the chapel of R.M. Williams Funeral Service, 120 W. Broadway St., Wellston, where a funeral service celebrating Judy’s life will follow commencing at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Coalton Cemetery.
