Jodelle M (Miner) Cremeens

March 14, 1940 — October 28, 2018

Jodelle M. (Miner) Cremeens, 78, of Wellston, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018, at Heartland of Jackson. She was born on March 14, 1940, in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of the late Challis and Betty (Louch) Miner. Jodelle was a member of LifeSource Apostolic Church in Wellston. After turning to Jesus Christ so many years ago, Jodelle’s life took on new meaning. A natural born “lover of people,” she became a servant to others. She never wanted someone to feel “overlooked,” she always wanted everyone to know that they mattered; that they were important. She was a giver and an encourager; someone who would quite literally give you the shirt off her back. Involved with numerous ministries throughout her years, including both children’s and senior’s, she was also a team member of the Breaking Chains Ministry for the last 9 ½ years. A true “woman of God” with a heart for Christ and others, Jodelle was steadfast, unmovable, faithful and true, and will be greatly missed by many.

She is survived by her loving family: husband of 48 years, Dave Cremeens; son, Eric (Candace) Downey; daughter, Colleen (Wes) Moore; four grandchildren: Seth (Angela) Moore, Zachary (Leah) Moore, and Braden and Nathaniel Downey; four great-grandchildren: Ava, Myla, Stella, and Judah Moore; brother, Chuck (Sherry) Miner; sister, Linda (Bob) Steinberger; step son, David Lee Chambers; as well as several brothers in law and sisters in law, several nieces, nephews, church family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Jodelle was preceded in death by brothers, Thomas and Ron Miner; a step son, Jeff Chambers; step mother, Isabelle Miner; as well as one brother in law.

A memorial service celebrating Jodelle’s life will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at LifeSource Apostolic Church, 110 Driving Park Rd., Wellston, with Pastor Michael Jadrnicek officiating. The doors of the Church will be open at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, Jodelle requested memorial contributions be given to Breaking Chains Restoration and Recovery Ministries, earmarked as such, in care of LifeSource Apostolic Church, P.O. Box 70, Wellston, Ohio 45692.

R.M. Williams Funeral Service, Wellston, is honored to care for Jodelle and her family.
