Jeffrey W. Garvin

Jeffrey William Garvin, 35, of Jackson, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. He was born April 22, 1989, in Columbus, Ohio, son of the late Julia Pittenger and Jeff Garvin, who survives. Jeffrey attended Wellston High School with the class of 2007, and later received his G.E.D. He was employed at BrenMar Construction. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved fishing and deer hunting. He was also a die-hard Baltimore Ravens fan, a great cook, and loved his truck. He especially loved and enjoyed spending time with his family and special friends. He will be greatly missed by many.

He is survived by his father, Jeff Garvin and step mom, Annette Jones; grandparents, Ronald Garvin, Delbert and Barbara Jones; brothers and sisters, Megan Morosco (Nick); Jonathon Garvin (Abigail), Ashley Atchison (Jeremy), Brittany Anich (Matt), Chelsea Cain, Delores Atchison, Kenny Trimble (Claudia); aunts and uncles, Jim Garvin (Jane), Tim Garvin (Babe), Joseph Pittenger (Shelly), Dee Ackley (Tim), Krissi Taynor (BJ), and Missy Jenkins; a very special cousin, Jennifer Garvin; four special nieces, Addison Starcher, Maggie Denney, Aliyah Denney, and Addi Dillenger; as well as many cousins.

In addition to his mother, Jeffrey was preceded in death by his grandmother, Audrey Garvin; his Gam, Carolyn Coyle and Bill Coyle, and grandpa, Joe Pittenger.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 21, 2024, in the chapel of R.M. Williams Funeral Service, 120 W. Broadway St., Wellston from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., where a funeral service will follow commencing at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Tim Jones officiating. Burial beside his mother will be in Ridgewood Cemetery, Wellston.
