Jeffery Ray

W. Jeffery Ray, 55, of Wilkesville, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at his home. He was born August 1, 1968, in Columbus, Ohio, son of the late Edward Lee Ray and Wilma Faye Boggs. Jeff was a very kindhearted person who very much loved joking and pranking people. He enjoyed making others laugh. He was a talented musician who played the guitar and liked heavy metal music. He will be missed by many.

He is survived by his sister, Janice (Mac) McConaha; a niece, Sarah (Rick) Ray; great niece and nephew, Joseph and Sabrina; as well as many others, and many friends.

In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by his stepfather, Elbert Castle; and brothers, Jimmy and Rob Ray.

A receiving of friends celebrating Jeff’s life will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 2 to 4 p.m., in the chapel of R.M. Williams Funeral Service, 120 W. Broadway St., Wellston.
