Hassell R. Wright
March 19, 1932 — December 31, 2015
Hassell Ray Wright, 83, of Wellston, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at his home. He was born on March 19, 1932 in Jenkins, Kentucky, son of the late Forrester and Lula (Rose) Wright. Hassell proudly served his country as a Marine during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the V.F.W. and the N.R.A.. He enjoyed both hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his son, Michael (Barbara) Wright; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Buddy (Gayla) Wright, Gary Wright, and Paul Wright; sister, Pat (Tom) Livingston; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Hassell was preceded in death by his wife, Myra; daughter, Brenda Long; and four brothers.
In keeping with Hassell’s wishes, no services will be held and his body was cremated.
