Kay Blevins,72, of Wellston, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025, at the Holzer Medical Center in Jackson. , She was born on August 25, 1953, in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of the late Kenneth and Harriet Odette (Edwards) Heeter. Kay graced the world with her warmth and kindness, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend who will be greatly missed by many.

Throughout her life, Kay was known for her caring and loving nature. She was a friendly soul who delighted in the company of her family and friends. Kay's passions included crocheting, sewing, and cross-stitching, hobbies that reflected her creativity and dedication. She also enjoyed playing card games and cooking, often bringing people together with her delicious meals and joyful spirit.

Kay is survived by her sons, Forest Leo Blevins (Beckey Leach) and Kenneth Robert Blevins, as well as her daughters, Amanda Spradlin and Katie Fruge (Shawn). She leaves behind a legacy of love through her twelve grandchildren: Marcus, Noah, Kaylee, Nicole, Somer, Anna, Skyla, Savannah, Nevaeh, Leo, Elijah, and Layla. Additionally, she is survived by two great-grandchildren, Kyrie and Ariel, with two more on the way, Saylor and Alvin; as well as her brother, Harry Heeter.  Each of these family members carries a piece of her spirit, a testament to the bonds she cherished so deeply.

In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by her husband, Forest Blevins, and an infant brother.

In keeping with Kay's wishes no public services will be held.
