Charlotte D (Norman) Kight

Charlotte Darlene Kight, 86, of Wellston, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Edgewood Manor Nursing Home in Wellston. She was born June 20, 1936, in Coalton, Ohio, daughter of the late John and Garnet (Estep) Norman. Charlotte spent most of her life as a homemaker working alongside her husband on the family farm. She enjoyed cooking, canning, and flower gardening as well as playing Bingo. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children, Michael Kight, Mark Kight, Karen Kight, and Debra Kight Barnett; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Marie Kight Richardson; as well as 4 brothers and 1 sister.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 24, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the chapel of R.M. Williams Funeral Service, 120 W. Broadway St., Wellston, where a funeral service celebrating Charlotte’s life will follow commencing at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Coalton Cemetery beside her beloved husband of nearly 50 years.
