Charlie "Duke" R. Robinson

Charlie “Duke” Richard Robinson, Jr, 71, of Wellston, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at his home. He was born on January 3, 1950, in Boone County, West Virginia, son of the late Charlie R. Robinson, Sr. and Loretta McNelly. Duke was a truck driver by trade. He enjoyed working, fishing, and watching the Hallmark Channel.

He is survived by his family: wife, Kathy; sons, Paul Robinson (Katie Kelly), Charles Mcguire (Kimberly), and Keith Robinson (Sherri); six grandchildren; five brothers, William, Buddy (Kathy), Bobby, James (Susie), and Arthur (Margie); two sisters, Ruth Vint (“Peewee”), and Linda Ramey (Gordon); as well as many nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Duke’s wishes cremation has been completed. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at a later date at the convenience of his family.
