Cathy S. Moore

Cathy S. Moore, 54, of Wellston, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at Holzer Medical Center in Jackson. She was born on March 6, 1964, in Oak Hill, Ohio, daughter of the late Clyde Moore and Betty (Halterman) Rasp. Cathy was a wonderful person who greatly enjoyed cooking, taking care of her kids and grandkids, and listening to rock and roll music. She loved catfishing, camping, and sitting around the fire sharing stories of times past with her beloved family and friends. She will be greatly missed by many.

She is survived by her husband, Dale “Punkin” Hill; children: Stella Davis, Stephanie Bentley (Randy), Stacey Hill, Tracey Hill (James Cochran), Misty Hill, Daisy Hill, and “Little” Dale Hill; 13 grandchildren; three very close nephews, Caleb Gee, Gary Hill, and Brad Hill; three sisters, Shirley Parks, Sandy Davis, and Lilly Barnett; two brothers, Floyd Rasp and David Rasp; as well as several other nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by her Father and Mother-in-law, Gene and Pauline Hill; and nephew, Jerry Hill.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 7, 2018 in the chapel of R.M. Williams Funeral Service, 120 West Broadway St., Wellston, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A graveside service celebrating Cathy’s life will follow in Salem Cemetery, commencing at 1:30 p.m.

Cathy was a “very colorful person” who loved Tie Dye clothing. Please feel free to wear your tie dye to the services as a tribute to her “bright and happy” personality.
