Carol Ann (Griffiths) Gardner

Carol Ann Gardner, 76, of Ray, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday morning January 4th 2024.

Carol was born on April 14th 1947 in Columbus, Ohio to Frank and Ruth Griffiths, who preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by her beloved Husband of 40 years, Trent W. Gardner, eldest son Michael W. Campbell, sister and brother-in-law Jeanette and Richard Lee.

She is survived by her son Trent J. Gardner; daughter-in-law Trina Gardner;  daughter Christina A. Saracco; son-in-law Scot Saracco; brother Larry Griffiths; grandchildren Kolton Gardner, Peyton Gardner, Thomas and Lacey Campbell, and many more family and friends, including her furry companion TJ.

Carol had a deep love for animals and all things living. She loved all of her little dogs. She took in and sheltered many abandoned, abused, and stray dogs, many of them she would find homes for throughout the years.

She loved the country life, spending time with her loving family, going to thrift stores and yard sales with her daughter. One of her passions in life was sitting on the porch swing with her husband, enjoying each others company while sipping coffee together.

Carol was a loving, caring soul that will be deeply and terribly missed by all who knew her.

No services will be observed at this time. There will be a “Celebration of Life” for family and friends at a later date. A very special Thank You to the Memory Care Unit staff at Jenkins Care Community. They went above and beyond to care for our beloved Mother.
