Alice Jean Cox

Alice Jean Cox, 81, of Wellston, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at her home. She was born on September 5, 1933 in London, daughter of the late Weldon and Ida (Rothe) Seaburn.

She is survived by her loving family, Children: Tami (Randy) Phillips; Keith Cox, Shawn Kiefer, and Shane (Janet) Cox; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, Russ (Carol) Seaburn, Steve (Donna) Seaburn, and Donnie (Linda) Seaburn; one sister, Mary Quinn; two brothers-in-law, Charles (Deloris) Cox and Gayle Johnston; sister-in-law, Janice Seaburn; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, William “Bill” Keith Cox on August 6, 2011; a brother, Robert Seaburn; sister, Patty Johnston; and brother-in-law, Robert Cox.

A visitation celebrating Jean’s life will be held at R.M. Williams Funeral Service (Formerly Huntley and Cremeens Funeral Home), 120 W. Broadway St., Wellston, on Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 1 to 3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jean’s name may be to National Church Residence Home and Community Services, 2335 North Bank Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43220 or a charity of one’s choice.
