Aleena Scarlette-Ann Murphy

Aleena Scarlette-Ann Murphy, infant daughter of Harlon Jay Murphy and Amanda Ann Steffy, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus. She was born on March 14, 2017 in Chillicothe, Ohio. Although Aleena was only here for a short time, the impact she made on her family will be everlasting.
She is survived by her loving family: Dad and Mom, Jay and Amanda; brother, Devin Murphy; paternal grandparents, JR Murphy and Donna (James) Brown; maternal grandparents, William Steffy, Jr. and Norma (Jesse) Stacey; uncles, Mason Brown, Kacy Murphy, Cody Murphy, James Brown, William Steffy III, and Tyler Stacey; aunts, Tiffany French, Breana Stacey, Emily Stacey, and Mariah Stacey; paternal great grandmas, Stella Murphy and Shirley Lambert; maternal great grandparents, William, Sr. and Julia Steffy; special friends, Mitzey Hatcher and Zack Eustler; as well as many great aunts and uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her paternal great grandpas Harlon (Stella) Murphy and Bobby Lambert; maternal great grandparents, Shirley Scott and Hassell Wright; as well as an uncle, LCpl. Michael Brown.
The family will receive friends at R.M. Williams Funeral Service, 120 West Broadway St., Wellston, on Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 1 to 4 p.m., where a funeral service will follow commencing at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Dan Brown officiating. Burial will be in Murphy Family Cemetery.
