Larry Edward Bonice, age 56, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, November 2, 2018. Born May 29, 1962 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Charles and Anna Bonice.
Larry graduated from North Gallia High School and Buckeye Hills Career Center in 1980, where he discovered his passion for the HVAC field. Obtaining multiple certifications, he spent many years doing what he loved. He was a respected technician in Winston-Salem, Gallipolis, Middleport, and Point Pleasant. For the last five years, Larry had been performing real-estate maintenance work in Columbus, OH. In his spare time, he enjoyed being outdoors, spending time with his family and friends, and exploring Columbus with his close friend and mentor; Bruce.
He is survived by two loving daughters; Alisha Bonice and Kelly Bonice, along with two dear sisters; Sharon (Mike) Simpson and Patty (Doug) Combs, two grandchildren; Donovyn and Gabriel Bonice, nephews; Joshua (Lisa) Stollings, Paul (Karissa) Combs, nieces; Christie Combs, Jessica Stollings, and Shaniah Thomas, many cousins, relatives and friends. Of special mention, friend; Bruce Smith and cousin; Jeannie Taylor.
Larry was preceded in death by his only son; Bradley Bonice, just six short weeks ago, his parents; Chuck (Anna) Bonice, maternal grandparents; Buford (Nella) Taylor, and paternal grandparents; Tiney Bonice and Opal Fields.
A celebration of life will be held at Blue Lake in the near future.
