David Allen Morgan, 58, of Jackson, passed away on December, 25, 2017, at his home. He was born on April 25, 1959, in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of the late Adrian Eugene Morgan and Mary Louise (Tackett) Morgan, who survives. David was a 1978 graduate of Oak Hill High School. A very talented mechanic, carpenter, and builder, David was always putting others first and lending a helping hand with many different projects never asking for anything in return. He was just that kind of guy. He was always there for his family, and absolutely loved his dogs, Scooter, Copper, Lady Bird, and Gus. He will be greatly missed by many.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Nick (Jessica) Morgan; grandchildren, Jaelyn and Brycen Kemper; brothers, Jimmy (Jonnette) Morgan, Dwayne (Melody) Morgan, and Mike Morgan (Missy Wilson); sisters, Kathy (Chuck) King, and Carol (Paul) Arthur; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Adrian Morgan.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at R.M. Williams Funeral Service, 120 West Broadway Street, Wellston from Noon to 1:00 p.m., where a memorial service celebrating David’s life will follow commencing at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Randy Carnes officiating. Burial will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.
